Default Can't shift into gear while car is running
I have a problem shifting into gear with the car running. I can shift with the car off and if i leave it in 1st and start the car I can drive it, but can't then shift out of gear until I turn the car off.

2000 A6 2.7T 6 Speed Manual

Any suggestions for a reliable and fair repair center in the Detroit area?

Most likely a bad slave cylinder.
