I was just pulling out of my parking lot at work onto a two-way road with one lane in each direction. As I was making a left the cars from the left stopped so I pulled out in between two cars and blocked that lane to look right. I saw a FedEx truck making a left into my parking lot and letting me go first so without a second glance left I went and I hear this BOOM so turn to look forward I see the guy that stopped on my left right in front of me trying to pass me over the double yellow line into oncoming traffic and go around me. Now mind you that it is a standstill traffic so I have no idea where this guy was going and how he was planning to get around me in front of the FedEx truck. We get out and he's like what are you doing? So I say you were passing me over the double yellow line, what are YOU doing? So he goes give me your license and registration so I say "F-U I'm calling the police" and just walked away from him. In this we had like 10 witnesses but I knew the FedEx guy because he picks up from us in the afternoon. So I asked him not to leave and just say to the cop what he saw. So this dillweed goes "I don't want to get involved and I'm busy" and just leaves. I ran over to the cop and told him that he saw it and to go talk to him. Cop comes back and ask for our stories. The guy goes first and tells the cop that he was just passing by and that I pulled out and hit him. Like I was standing there and aiming for him. He also claims that he did NOT cross the yellow line to pass me. I am like WTF!!! So I keep calm and let him finish. Then I calmly tell the cop my story and that the other guy is lying. So we go back and forth and I always try to have the last word. So the cop writes it up and tells us we can go. I wait for the guy to leave so I can talk to the cop by myself. I talked to him for like 10 min and he said that he believed me but since we didn't break anything and no skids he couldn't prove it. He also said that the FedEx ***** said that we were both a little at fault. So it was just an out for him so that he wouldn't get involved. The cop seemed like a nice guy and said that he would try to write the report the best he could so that I am not at fault.

I am beyond furious....not only did this guy lie, but the FedEx driver refused to say anything. Basically I have a damaged front bumper that will cost me money to fix and all just because this guy decided that it was a good idea for him to cut me off! I doubt I have more damage than the deductable and even so its not by much so its not worth the agrevation to deal with the insurance company. What really ticked me off was that it even happened. I mean if I caused it or something then I would be like **** happens and just deal with it. But this was a completely stupid accident that never should have happened. I was wondering where he was thinking he was going since there was a truck in the oncoming lane. Then instead of being a decent person and telling the truth he flat out lies to the cop and to top it all off the FedEx guy is a dick and instead of taking 15 secs to tell the cop what happened he just get out of by not saying anything.

I am trully at a loss for words, why do people have to be like that? I mean WTF!! Oh well...here are some pics.

You better be careful when you read the police report. Something similar happened to me a year ago, even though I am the one that got hit from behind, the cop wrote like that I was going backward to hit the other guy dilberately.

For some reason, cops don't seem to believe guys driving fancy cars in an accident. Thankfully, you only had a scratch bumper, my right rear quarter panel was pushed back into the car, as the guy that hit me never used his brake.
