I have a '99 A6 2.8 FWD. I'm wondering if there's some device that I can get to adapt my motorola cell phone (with bluetooth) to the port in the center console of the car. I'd like to be able to use the microphone and speakers, etc for hands free... Any suggestions?

Choose one and install it (or get it installed). I got a Parrot cig lighter portable for like $50 off eBay and rewired it for permanent use (see my picture poster for photos).
See the Audiworld Tech Section (below) for profiles on how to wire in to the phone pre-wiring in Audis (note the A4 and A6 are the same wrt phone wiring).
Lastly, note that the arm rest plug is wired to another loose RJ45 socket BELOW the arm rest in the center console, plus there's space down there to tuck a kit in - so that's the one I'd recommend to use (and is what I used in fact).

https://www.audiworld.com/tech/elec12.shtml</a
