car squeaks in the front half of the car somewhere going over bumps, bad roads, etc.....

or not, and just replace the bushing. normally, it's the bushing if it is a creak and not a clunk...
look at the control arm to see if there is any bending. if none, just get the bushings.

greasing is a temporary solution. you still have wear that has to be dealt with...
if they creak, it's for a reason, and not a good one. it's just a symptom that someday you'll have to do something about it. it's most likely the damage and wear is already there.
