I got a new saddle and the rails on it will not fit in my Litespeed seatpost hardware...so of course instead switching out for the less expensive Ti-rail Aliante, I spent more and got a new post that will fit the larger rails. Ironically, the carbon Campy post weighs somewhat more than the Litespeed Ti post. It's all just for fun, as I have pounds to shed from me, but it's cool stuff. Thought you'd appreciate it.
The rest of my Shimano gear will object, but everyone will just have to get along with the new seatpost:

Fizik Aliante; carbon rails with Ti clamping area. The rails are quite bizarre in their construction/appearance. I hope they don't break! Supposedly the most comfy saddle going:

The entire base is carbon - the edges are rigid and heavy duty, the center area appears to be a single layer and flexes quite a bit (the comfy part):

P.S. I blurred the edges so that the images would compress more

When complete you know I have a set of Campagnolo Compatible Carbon Cranks with a Lifetime Warranty waiting for your order. I will of course, discount them for you, how's $30 off with free shipping sound for $175 shipped? Better then Campy's $800 2nd year design as we are aproaching year 11. I also stock Carbon Seat Posts with a 5 year warranty and you could have got one for $50 from me but I'm sure the Campy one will do for now, great stuff and the Fizik Aliante is excellent, It's what my girl friend uses on her Zipp (mainly because it is white & Carbon since she has an all white Zipp frame). Enjoy LM and let me know if you need anything else cycling related as I will be able to get it for less and discount it further for my AW friends.

http://www.carbonLORD.com/cranks.html</a

year 2000 model Litespeed Classic. It has the Litespeed post and a Fizik Pavé right now.
When I got the bike I ordered it and had it painted (PPG Ferrari Azurro California Met - Silver Blue Metallic), and it has Dura-Ace gruppo and Reynolds Ouzo fork (1" - I missed the changeover to 1 1/8 by a couple short months damnit!). I like the Shimano equipment a lot, and notice that you sell compatible pieces for that setup as well. Thanks for the offer(s), I'll keep it in mind if I replace anything else. I really only upgraded to try to gain some more comfort as I hope to put in some good miles this season. Luckily, our season starts now...it's 62 awesome degrees out today. The only thing I would desire for it at this point are new wheels, and possibly...just possibly...a change to a triple setup. I'm gettin' old, and there are a lot of hills out here!

I raced at a amateur level for a couple seasons in Europe...but, alas, that was 50 lbs. ago (probably 60 lbs., if you consider my bikes have continued to lose weight as I've been gaining it).
