Hi guys another question, does anyone know were I can buy some better more dirt resistant floor mats for an Audi A6 2.7T. I really hate to bring mud in the car on those really nice mats? Your information always helps.
Thanks,
Chris

I have some of those in my Jeep and they are lifesavers! What I would also recommend is the trunk or bed liner that they have available it is awesome. I'm ordering my mats and trunk liner right now!

I would certainly recommend getting the Weather Tech trunk tray too. I got it for my A6 4.2 and love it. But I have another suggestion for the floor mats. I tried Weather Tech floor mats thought they were OK but they wouldn't fit in my 4.2 because the front floor pan is a different shape. I realize this isn't a problem for your 2.7T but I found that Audi has a newly designed winter/rubber mat that I think is superior to the Weather Tech mats (IMHO). The older style rubber mats that Audi had "sucked". The newer style comes in either black (-blk) or clay (-cly) and are much better. Here's the Audi part number:
ZAW-179-002-CLY
ZAW-179-002-BLK
note the last 3 letters donotes the color.
They're available for the A4 too.
Replace the -002 in the part number with -001 for the A4 or vice versa. I'm not sure now because the dealer ordered it wrong for me the first time and I ended up with a set of A4 mats which had to be sent back. So double check which is the A4 and which is the A6 part number.
They are the only winter/rubber mats that I could find to fit properly in the 4.2. AoA tells me that the mat is designed to fit the V6 and the V8.
However only one snap on each front mat can be fastened on the 4.2 installation. Other than that I'm very happy with them. Again IMO they're better than the Weather Tech mats and with the A6 logo on the mat will look much more classy. I have the clay color and it works fine with the melange interior.
Let me know what you end up doing. I'm curious!

Yes......I ordered the mats from the dealer. They're fairly new so most dealers might not have them in inventory. You might be able to order them from the dealer, one set in each color and take the one that works best for your application. Or....Don't take either if you don't like them. I think you will be surprised though at the quality of these mats.
