Cashmere Grey color shift

I have seen Cashmere Grey on the A6 several times now. In the sunshine I like it a lot. One time I saw it under cloudy conditions and it seemed to take on a purplish color, I'm not quite sure I liked it. Do owners of cashmere grey like your car color in all lighting conditions? Would you buy the color again?

That it changes a lot with ambient lighting conditions is one of its virtues.
Cashmere Gray has always been my favorite A6 color, especially when matched with Tungsten Gray leather. The only reason I didn't order it was because at the time, there was already another Cashmere/Tungsten A6 in my office's parking structure; I figured that after waiting so long to get this beautiful car I didn't want to have one of two identical ones in the parking garage! Pretty stupid logic, especially considering that exactly 11 days after finally taking delivery I was told that I would no longer be working there!
My advice: Go for the Cashmere. It's beautiful.

I LOVE the color shifts. The car looks like a different color depending on the light. It has many differing shades and that is why I bought the color. From pale Lilac to gray with some brown thrown in for good measure. I would buy this color again.

I agreed it looks best in sunshine. But also very unique with the purple tint in the shade. I personally that it matches the melange interior the best. And yes I'll buy it again.

Mine is Cashmere with Onyx leather. It is beautiful and gets lots of compliments. Besides which it is fairly rare (vs silver, black or melange) which, in my opinion, is a good thing. Also besides which everyone knows it is the fastest of the lot - even quicker that the much ballyhooed Ming.

Great color because it's several different ones, hides dirt really well, and is probably the "stealthiest" of all Audi colors. I love it with melange, though I'm sure the Tungsten looks great too.

I wasn't crazy about it at first, but it definitely grew on me. I posted some pics early last week in various light conditions and it really is a cameleon of sorts....I like it.
Let me know if you can't find the pics and I'll email them to you, if you're interested.
