CD Changer Question re: Random Play
When I set the CD player to Random:Changer it should jump from disc to disc but it only random plays the disc that is playing at the time before moving on to the next disc. It doesn't work te way that the manual describes, does anyone know if it is me or if this is the way it operates.

It will eventually change discs...
...when it feels in the mood. It will often spend LOTS of time on one disc though before it decides it's time to try something different. I think it's almost pointless and I stopped using it altogether.

If you have the manual check it out, there are specifics in there regarding the "randomness."
As Silver mentioned, it's actually not very random at all, but at least they admit it...

I think this may be different with Symphony II vs I?
My I was completely random on one disc - no anti-repeat logic, no nothing. I don't remember all the specifics, but I'm pretty sure the manual explained that it was random and one had to find the non-anti-repeating out by hard experience

From the "Portfolio of Owner Privileges" which you should receive a couple months after taking
delivery of your car:

Don't spend too much time looking forward to this package...it's really not very worthwhile...
