During driving the CEL blinks a few seconds and then disappears and no more CEL for the past 2 day driving.
Is it common for a 9 yrs old 128k mi A6 or I need to VAG-COM it asap?

blinking CEL is an engine misfire.... could be a million things , if it hasnt happened again i wouldnt worry about it, if it happens more frequently id get it scanned, either way nothing terribly critical

I had this happen on my car a while back. It was a bad coil pack, which is one of the million possible causes of the flashing CEL - I let it go until the car started misfiring a few weeks or a month later.
If it is consistent (more than 4-5 seconds) then you should try to not drive the car. In my case, it flashed like yours, was fine for a while of driving, and then after a month or so suddenly started again. When it started again, it was bad enough that I did not drive the car until I diagnosed and fixed.
I wouldn't worry about it until it was a regular/consistent problem. Then, it needs to be fixed. Misfires can ruin your cat if you drive the car for any period of time like that.

I had the recall of coilpacks about 6 mos ago.
The only thing comes to mind is, I am running the tank of gas with seafoam, plus switched from conservative driving style to more gas pedal push.
