Centric bolt at then end of the steering column.

Is there a proper procedure to reinstall the centric bolt at the end of the steering column, attaching it to the rack?

Make sure its correctly seated, put the bolt in and pre-tension it by turning counter-clockwise. Put the nut on, tighten to 30 Nm.
