Default Tell me about it.

After reading the list of things to be checked, i am 98% sure that NONE of the things were checked. For instance:

List says body panels were checked - PRior to purchase of my car, there was a dent on the gas tank flap, and front right fender.

Also stated that they checked the windows for chips and cracks - Took the car home and there was a chip on the left side of the windshield.

in any case, it lead me to believe, if anything, that they just checked the more, shall i say, important parts, such as rotors, pads, tires, belts, anything else will have to be examined by thge purchaser, then to bring it back to the dealer.

Default Only as good as the dealer. However .....

When I bought my CPO S6, they did, on my request, new brakes, rotors, brake fluid, tire balance.

All the regular stuff seemed to be done.

Car was thoroughly detailed.

Warranty has been honored, but it is much mroe limited than factory original.

Of course, my car was still under factory warranty for something like 12 mos too.

Default No valet key or rear lighter for me either.

I got the checklist, but only because I knew to ask (thank you A6/S6 Forum). It looked pretty legit except that it indicated a front-end vibration had been fixed when it had not. I already had identified the problem and the dealer already had fixed it by the time I saw the checklist. Coincidentally, my car came without the valet key or the rear lighter too. Makes me wonder whether these cars actually came with a rear lighter or just a dummy plug to protect kids riding in the back seat?

Default I was missing keys, called Audi they are having dealer provide them

I might have lucked out, but it's worth a shot. Call customer care and tell them you just got your CPO and these things are missing.
