Im choosing to purchase either a used 2001 S6 or a new 2002 S6. Just after reading the thread two posts down, Im worried that the used '01 model might not have some specs that I would like. These are:

-thicker glass
-more rigid chasis

Since these are changes you cant "see" and since there is no '02 model here(in Australia) yet to test drive and compare, would you guys have any info on whether the '01 model S6 already has these specs??

Also, to what extent do the changes in the facelifted A6's affect the S6 range as well?
