Last year my turbo's went out and so i've been very slowly working on installing K04's in my A6 2.7 Currently i have everything disassembled with the engine and transmission sitting on my cherrypicker ready for the turbos, I just ordered new Turbo inlet pipes. I broke the flex piping on my current downpipes and was wondering if i should just repair it or buy aftermarket downpipes. All downpipes I've seen are $1500-2000 which are a little out of my pricerange since I just purchased my first home and have a huge list of upgrades to do.

any advise would be great.

get VAST piggie pipes - they're stock downpipes w/ gutted precats, good for 15-20 hp, that's what i went with when i did my K04's, very happy with them. couldn't see spending what you mentioned for regular downpipes. they're $350 i believe with a refundable core charge when you send back your old ones

Maybe I'll attempt to gut the cats myself and have some exhaust shop fix the flex joint and move the o2 sensor
