So no vacuum leaks and although I cannot verify if the intake runner valves are operating properly at speed, I did put it in gear sitting in the driveway and actuate the valve with absolutely no change in idle.

Maybe I'm simply imagining things.

I'm going to go reset the computer to factory settings with lemmiwinks and see if perhaps I am simply putting too much torque through the converter.

Shortly after I return, this baby's going into the garage for a revamp.

I've got to replace the ageing cooling lines, all the plastic vacuum lines with rubber, softening suspension bushings and struts and just overall give her a cleanup.

I may even pop a supercharger on there for a little extra pep! I've been eyeing that PES kit.
