Chevron ProGuard Fuel injector cleaner. Any experience?

Chevron ProGuard Fuel injector cleaner. Any experience?
Went to Costco, 4 ProGuard package for $10.00 (about $2.50/bottle). Hit or Pass? Should I stay with Techron or switch to ProGuard?

Proguard vs. Techron
Proguard is a diluted version of Techron and I use it occasionally for maintenance, in both Audi and BMW. Use full strength Techron (20 oz bottle) on the last fill up before the oil change. I do it about once a year (not the oil change, but Techron).

Techron before oil change.......pls explain
I, too, am a fan of Techron. I'm curious as to why it is recommended that you do it right before an oil change. How does the use of Techron affect the oil? When it is combusted does some of the residue get past the rings to contaminate the oil?

I think your explanation is very plausible.
Techron used to have this "before oil change" recommendation printed on the bottles, but not anymore. I don't think they changed the formula, but rather changed marketing.
