Default Clarification on the headlight Lens question posted earlier

The lights are out, I need to swap the lens only as the replacement headlight body housing is broken and not usable. Just the clear lens from one housing to the other.

Cheers and thanks

Default You can use a heat gut to soften the goo that holds the lens to the housing.

Many folks opt to use that method when doing clear corners rather than drilling.

Default To pop the amber reflectors you either have to drill in the housing . . .

just behind the reflector or take the clear lens off.

I drilled and sealed for mine, not wanting to disturb the seal of the clear, but it does not appear to be a big deal if you use heat.

There used to be good links to the clear corner mods on Stoney's links, but most of the PDF's and pics are dead (got tired of looking).
