Did you add any glue when you put back together? If so, what did you use?

Default What did you do about the clip on the far right?

Also how did you re-seal it? Just put the new silicone around and push? I have never worked with silicone before...

Any idea if the "oven method" will work with the **newer** A6 Headlights?

Default Re: Good to know, again, just be weary if you have a **newer** A6 or replacement lamps

i did the oven method on my original 02 xenon lights went fine, however im replacing one bad light with a brand new oem light, tried the oven method same temp and time as worked on the others and did not work... it appears the new oem has a clear adhesive much stronger that did not pull apart and was weary of breaking the light, any ideas?

So I've been wanting to do this mod for a while - however it is such a b1tch to remove the headlamps on the 2.7's - I never felt like getting around to it. Today, I did this method and it worked well - I just really hope I sealed it good enough that it doesn't lead to condensation! Anytime taking something apart like this worries me it will never be OEM quality once put back together. So here are some pics of the CC mod done on my pearl blue 2.7. Comments?
