Default Climate control malfunction on 96-A6
My climate control in the heat mode blasts me out of the car. No control with temp. setting. I can control the fan output but not the temp.in manual or auto setting. Any suggestions would be appreciated before I take it to the shop.

Wrong forum. This is for the C5, which came out in 1998.

Default Heater flap motor on the air box in the cowl next to the wiper motor most likely.
A VAG tool can test this.
