Concert Bose vs. Symphony Bose
What is the difference between the Concert Bose system and the Symphony Bose system? My friend has a 98 A6 2.8 with the Audi Concert Bose and I have a 2001 A6 2.7T with the Audi Symphony Bose. The Concert sounds like it has a lot more bass, but yet both systems are 8-speaker, 200 watt systems with subwoofers. I figured the equalization is just tuned differently. Is there any way to get more bass from my Symphony Bose system?

Guess my RS6 is different, eh?
I would LOVE to improve the sound of my Bose Audi symphony. Seemed OK at first but g/f likes to listen loud and at those levels some parts (e.g. midrange) are too distorted.
However, my selection buttons are not numbered; each one just has a little white rectangle on it. Holding down the fifth one from the left, while turning head unit on with key disengaged, resulted in no change. The unit simply turned on and began playing the CD that had been playing last, as usual. I hesitate to try other buttons because I don't want to screw it up. As with all RS6s in the US, mine is an 03.
The cassette door flap says "Audi symphony" and the LED flashes "BOSE" when I turn it on.
Any suggestions?

Re: Yeah, fine tune it with the hidden EQ settings.
Thanks a million. That made a huge difference. The Symphony system still sounds slightly softer in the low-range of the soundstage. Is that due to a difference in circuitry or am I just imagining it?
