Default Maybe the ball joints last longer there, thereby allowing the bushings to actually wear out?

I've got some arms that came off of Joel's car, the ball joints are just about ready to fall apart, yet, the inner bushings are fine.

Maybe the roads in L.A. are like NJ? Ball joints are perfect, bushings are cracked.

Default Yup. New bushings would run $200. A control arm kit, $499.

Save $299.......not a large enough savings IMO to skip buying a set of arms especially when the labor is the same. I'll just do that.

Default Is the labor the same, or more to change the bushings? Personally...

I'd rather have whole new arms than re-use old ball joints that are going to fail anyway..
