Default Control arm kit

Just wanted to share: saved over $140 on this kit going with these guys http://www.blauparts.com/proddetail.asp?prod=M1A1101%2D01%2DB instead with autopartswarehouse. It still sucks that Audi didn't make it so it lasts longer (I just passed 70k with my 2001 A6Q). These babies squeal lake crazy, very annoying.

Audi Control Arm Kit - A6 1998-02 w/ 6 Cylinder Engine - Meyle

Been pondering that kit vs. the Febi-Bilstein one from Purems. Not sure which is better.

Default Might want to search on Meyle vs. Febi-Bilstein and form your own opinion....

seems to be some issues with some Meyle components....

Default I just had the Purems kit installed, boy does she ride smooth now

The tie rod ends looked larger than the originals, the control arms were heavier duty as well I'd say.

I looked at the parts laying on the ground, it looked like every piece was ready to fail from considerable wear.

I had my uncles friend instll the kit for 50 an hour, he installed everything in 2 hours with access to a shops equipment.

Had the alignment done the next day, and she drives so smooth now, no more clunks,no more unneven tire wear, no more squeels, and no more grabbing at every part of the uneven road.

I reccomend the febi-bilsteen kit, and having it installed anywhere but the dealer
