Default Control Arm Kit: To good to be true?

I know I know.... ebay parts....

but thought I might as well give it the old college try and see if anyone has exp. with these kits. I emailed the seller and he said...

"We purchase them as an aftermarket kit "private label" no brand name."

I'm thinking alibaba.com

Quality is definitely an issue and what are you going to do when/if a control arm bushing or balljoint fails in 12K?

........and "You get what you pay for", China replicates and copies everything to the point that quality is a lost word, I agree with SloopJohnB and most of all you have to ask yourself the Million Dollar question "Do I want to do this replacement again" is it really worth saving a couple c-note's while wondering if the parts even meet ISO standards.

FCP Groton is located in CT so you get your parts in the Northeast in one day!

I'm really getting tired of junk parts made in China, so are they? don't care about the price to a degree if they are quality parts. As far as anybody knows Groton could be a retailer for parts made in China.

The FCP parts are probably made in china. I've installed them, they went in no problem, and so far so good. I also know if there was premature failure FCP will stand by with a warranty.

Thankfully Audi parts can be had at any price range. I wanted a budget solution and that's what I bought. If you are tired of cheap parts then just buy the $8-900 kits from Febi or $1000+ for OEM parts.

.....Between the stealership crap rip-off's and the cheap part providers it's no wonder why these cars get bad raps on reliability. Asia's goal is to cripple European cars with cheap labor sub-standard knock-offs parts that level their playing field while the mass minions fall for buying copied styled wanabee cars, not European.

Anybody using the Blauparts kit made by the italian company OCAP?

i'd rather buy Italian over China anyday (assuming FCP is china sourced)
