Agreed. I've pressed bushings out and no problem with the bj's.
One thing...one guy on the ø†her board (if not this one too) says to drill and tap the back of the bj's for zerk fittings. A little synthetic grease goes a long way because the bj's are nylon or some synthetic inside...they'll wear without a lot of noise and then just go away...

Yeah I saw that too. I would be to scared to drill them! With My luck I would damage the bastard and would have to buy a new one anyway! LOL The set I am replacing is the original ones, so if I get another 75K miles of the second set I think will be happy... ;-)

Cheers

Default A4 control arms parts

I've just gone through this thread and although it is on the A6 I'm looking for the same parts for my A4 and am wondering about the various suppliers. I've looked at Ebay, Blauparts, partsbin, and Eurospec and my question is what have others used and found regarding the quality. I want to get the complete kit as the bushings and ball joints are wearing out so I want to just replace all the control arms and the tie-rods. I've gotten pricing from about $230 - 700. If the Eurospec kit is good quality then I would certainly go with that as the price is one of the lowest. Any input?
