Default Coolant level warning

I have a coolant level warning that posts when the car is cold and stays up for several minutes of driving before it clears. The coolant tank is between max and min levels, and I recently changed the coolant. Any ideas on cause? I can't find a reference to a sensor in my ebahn maintenance manual. There must be one, I just can't figure out what to replace or check.

Default sensor is on underside of coolant reservoir; sometimes the contacts get corroded by.....

...coolant seeping through the sensor.
