Low coolant sensor, built into your coolant reservoir.

Is it the sensor on the bottom of the reservoir?

Yes, it's either unplugged, faulty or has a broken wire.

If it's the original coolant reservoir you're doing quite well...they usually crack long before this!

Disconnect the sensor on the bottom of the tank and see if the light goes out. If it doesn't, short the terminals and see if it goes out. If nothing happens, you've got a bad wire somewhere.

If the light goes out on either of the above, just replace the coolant tank or disable the sensor by leaving it disconnected or shorted (whichever shuts off the light) and check your coolant level old school.

Yep, just went through that last week. I noticed a pink, crusty line running down the side of the tank. Didn't lose any perceptable amount of pink stuff but bought and installed a brand spankin' new tank. The thought of a blowout up on I-77 in west by God Virginia was not one to contemplate.

$30 off ebay and it's OEM with coolant level sensor.
