Cruising RPM at 65?

Cruising RPM at 65?
Just curious if my car is operating correctly or not. When I cruise at 65mph the engine is sitting at 2400rpm. It's a 2.7t and it seems rather high for a cruising rpm.

what transmission......?
Sounds right to me almost either way. That means 130 at 4800 rpm... maybe a bit low.
Somehow i think mine (5-sp tip S6) runs a bit higher - btu then, i also have a higher numeric final drive
