good parts simply because you cannot be bothered repairing them.

Cv boots are an easy and satisfying job because you know, once done, they will be good for another five or six years and lots of miles.

I have yet to have one fail on my 2.7 but I did both on my wifes 2.8 within a year of each other at about 112k to 116k - she does a very low mileage!

ulimit is your friend. 8-)

they don't get "thrown away". They get returned as a core and rebuilt (by someone other than me).
