dealer today as the ABS/Brake lights have been triggering intermitently for a while. Based on input I've read here, along with a Veg-Com scan Boston Driver was kind enough to perform, I assumed the ABS module was going. Indeed, it is. I also knew I had a right front contral arm to replace. What astounded me were the dealer prices on these, and a number of other issues they found:
(note: all prices here are dealer quote for parts + labor):
1. ABS module faulty: $1150
2. Both upper control arms (right front) loose: $775
3. Left front lower control arm loose: $515
4. Both rear axle seals leaking: $450 EACH
5. Front Prop shaft seal leaking: $800
6. Rear Prop shaft seal leaking: $600
7. Rubber brake hoses cracking: $600
Grand total: $5340. OUCH!! So, how would AW prioritize this list?

If the axle and prop shaft seals are WEEPING, do nothing. If they're leaving puddles, then fix. Either DIY, or find a good indy.
ABS module, send off for repair, or just leave it dead, which is my choice.

the dealer saw those same things on my car at 50k and recommended changing them. to say the least i put on an additional 70k miles and no problems with the car just oil and filter changes and the timing belt service done.
the c5 from my experience turned out to be a pretty reliable car for as much fear there is on the forum of turbos.
