Default Debadging my A6

If I debadge my 99 A6, what are the chances that there will be some fading where the badges are removed? It is green.

Default Depends on the overall condition of your paint.....

...I'd opine that you'll see a difference on 5 year old dark green paint.....

It will show the outline of the badges in dust until the glue dries out.

Default Did it 2 weeks ago to my '99 Avant - Volcano Black - no problems

I waxed it and also used clay. No problems at all.

Default Given the car's age, why risk it and do it at all?

I agree with the other forum member's thought.
Several years of sun and weather exposure, there's a good chance you are going to uncover a different hue of green under the badges.

thanks for the info. I think I may give it a shot - I can always put them back on.
