diagnosis help door mirror adjust
98 A8. My driver door mirror won't adjust completely. goes left/right but won't go up all the way (seems to want to go left instead when adjusting up).
My mechanic replaced the switch but mirror still won't adjust right. He says i need a new mirror. if he plugs in a good mirror, it adjusts all the way correctly.
What goes bad with these things? I am aware the PO replaced the mirror glass and wonder if he didn't jam something. Any suggestions?
