Default Did 2004 A5 4.2L have Factory Sport or S-Line suspension?...

Just wondering... According to Bluaparts, their suspension kits (strut/shock replacement and related parts) fits 2001-2003 A6 "Factory Sport" but not the 2004 "S-Line." According to Blau's website, the "Factory Sport" option loweres the car just less than 1 inch and the S-Line option loweres the car about 1.5 inches.

I'm assuming their kits fits the Base and Sport C5 cars, but not the S-Line, due to the S-Line cars having a shortened strut (rod) length due to shorter oem springs.

So, did the 2004 A6 4.2L have Factory Sport, or S-Line as an option?....

Thanks!

<edit> 2003 and 2004 A6 (2.7T only) had the "sport" suspension components standard from the factory. IIRC, having a "sport package" in those years just upgraded the seats. The 4.2 still had the "sport package" option which included the suspension upgrades and the seats.

The S-line option in 2004 (available on the 2.7T only and only for that year) was mostly cosmetic (badges, spoiler, wheels), plus ECU tuning for 15 more hp. There was no difference in the suspension components from the 'base" 2.7T which already has the sport suspension components.

Thanks for the good info, BD!... Why does Bluaparts differentiate and call-out the non-applicability of the S-Line suspension in this application?... I called, and of course got the: "All I know is the same thing you see on our website" response.
