Did my new Compass mirror upgrade today, took about 10 min. Cool. I feel so modern.
Special thanks to Tomas from the Chicago area for prompt shipping. My original mirror quit dimming, neccesitating the change.

AHA! there you are! I never did place who respnded. Yeah, it's nice not to have that damn
glare in my mirror again, plus the benefit of knowing which direction I'm in. Slipped in like a charm.

I used a mirror from a 2004 (2005> not compatible) with compass. Tomas sold it to me
for about 150 plus shipping, works fine. It takes about an hour after install for the compass to re-orient itself, no calibration normally required. Tech write-up attached. I would add to this that when using your Channel-Locks on it that you need to grab the mount at the fat part closest to the windshield and turn it toward the passenger side. Transfer the small flat peice of trim onto the new mirror, no pliers needed to reinstall the replacement mirror.<ul><li><a href="https://www.audiworld.com/tech/int36.shtml">https://www.audiworld.com/tech/int36.shtml</a</li></ul>
