Default Did you know that Exel wheels won't fit a 2.7T A6?

I was thinking of bidding on these, so I called the manufacturer, to check fitment (is that a word?) and he told me that NONE of their wheels would fit a 2.7T (w/o spacers) because of the, his words "big, huge calipers in the front" "You would need spacers and we wouldn't recomend doing that"

I thought I saw some of you guys w/Excel wheels, is this true?

Exel wheels

Default Factory Sport Rims

These are the rims that are offered with the 2002 A6 under the sport package.

I am taking a guess that the VW rims are different. Good thing you checked.

Default The VW wheels are different...

they appear to have those "fake" bolts, where the OEM sport wheels do not have those. Also, the spokes seems to be somewhat much deeper and set back slightly, which is probably why it will not clear the HP2 caliper.
