1. zinc phosphate coating
2. cataphoretic dip primer coating
3. underseal
4. resilient stone-impact protective filler
5. top coat
6. clear lacquer finish
7. body cavity protection
Process 7 involves using Wax solvents that are sprayed into the vehicles cavities to create a protective seal. Excess wax will come into contact with the finished surfaces.
Therefore, this "curing" business is just not the case. Besides, why in the world would any automotive manufacturer ship product that has "soft" coating that is immediately prone to imperfections and damage. Doesnt make much sense, does it?
Also, I believe the paints used are water-based and "cure" quiclky anyway....

I worked for a vw dealer and it was my job to prep cars for delivery (bring them to the dealer, remove the wrapping, instal some trims, remove glue left from the wraping and just before brigning it to the showroom or to delivery, wax it. I'm sure it is the same for Audis
