Do OEM S6 side mirror housings fit 2.7T?
Forgive me for not searching the archives on this one. Work is BUSY! I know that someone was trying to get a group by on mirror housings, but they supposedly weren't OEM parts.
Also, what are the implications with auto-dimming mirrors?

Yes they do, the S4 and S6 mirror housings are the same. The catch is....
that you can't buy them individually according to joshd@s4.org. I bought mine off someone of the S4 forum who was getting rid of his OEM ones. The whole assemblies with mirror cost somewhere around $800 - yikes. I still paid way too much for mine. An aftermarket company (in-pro I believe) makes chrome plastic ones for about $130 or so. But IMO they don't look like the OEM aluminum at all. I should have the housings by next week so I can look for part numbers and you can try to order them. I'll post as soon as I have them installed, with pics of course : )

I've thought about doing this, I've heard as much as $1000 for the pair from a dealer.
My drivers mirror housing is cracked and I'd rather get polished ones than a repl and then have it painted.
