Yeah - dealer tells me up to 1/4" movement is "normal". Annoying, though, isn't it?

Default My Passenger Seat is like a rocking chair and mine rocks slightly too. I hate it! Someone told me

that I need new rail guides or something like that. I am still CPO so I figure I will get some really fat people to drive my car around and get that baby really rocking to speed up the process. LOL

Default Same problem here too...

Got a $800 quote from the dealer to fix it (seat frame replacement).

Default Had mine done too, came right back :(

Dealer changed my seat track and it started rocking again 3 weeks later... It's not as bad as it was, but I'm sure that it will be soon.

Default No fix AFAIK. I am on my 4th seat frame (3 replacements plus factory original) and still rocking.

I've been through 3 BBB Arbitration hearings and am now pursuing "other options". Will update the boards when I hear anything definite. Some models are worse than others regarding this rocking motion, the B5 S4 was notorious for this problem. Only thing AoA will do is swap out the seat frame, which usually does not cure the problem; it temporarily alleviates it at best.
