Triple As are the best in that regard.

Don't bother. The weight savings doesn't make a difference in a 2 ton car.

Default No problems with my Odyssey

I think my 925 weighs about half the stock battery, and my 680 (before I traded it out for the 925) about a quarter of it. Never had problems with either.

Default I am running a 16lbs Deka battery without any issues

in my 01 2.7t a6. I did it without expecting to gain anything. If the 30lbs savings over a stock audi battery does not make a difference so why not get a ligth battery?. However, I am a runner and I bet ya it would be a lot easier for ANY runner to run "faster" if you save them any weight for a 26.2 miler.

Default LOL. 30/4000 is <1.4/140 runner..think dehydration even.

Point is that you'll lose that 1.4 lb in 26.2 without running any faster...I don't think that losing one pound would make any difference in a marathoner's time. Of course, he could always drink too much water on the run and go the other way....

Just try it. but first see your doctor. and also do this run 1 mile with a 20lbs weight and then one without it and come back with the outcome.

something funnier, have you noticed a lot of times when people post about racing(street or track) they usually say "but I had a passenger and the other car didnt" my car had full interior" I had the big heavy wheels" and so on.

At the end like lot of people also say "It does not make a difference' so why dont do it? In my case I only pay $70.00 for my battery that works great. So I've saved something $$$$.

My car weighs 4000lbs, 30lbs is 1%. im 230 that would be 2.30lbs for me either way im going to be a tired *** after a mile, hahaahha Unless you give your car the full treatment and strip it down. I wouldnt bother. I kinda like my fine Audi interior.

Default Why wouldn't you bother? I mean, if you have to change the battery anyway...

why not get something that's lighter, if the prices are comparable?

Default thanks for the responses, as far as not making a diference it is weight off the front end

if that does not make a difference why would Audi now have the batteries in the trunk as well as BMW? Not trying to be confrontational here, just trying to see others thoughts. I also realize that the weight would not be offset buy the more weight in the trunk. As I understand the responses these batteries are just as reliable as stock but the difference is negligible. Thak you all for your input
