looking at picking one up, but can't find any info on the performance aspects of it for my C5 S6. obviosuly, a lot of people like the interlocking rings, but what about the performance?

That's on ebay right? I haven't heard much about it. I don't think anyone has gotten it. Maybe you can be the 1st

I heard the RS6 and Milltek(sp)exhaust on a 4.2 sound great but you lose a few hp and low end torque.

But by far the best exhaust mod for the money is cutting out the resonator and welding 2 straight pipes. Decided to try it before buying a $1K exhaust system. I paid only $150, probably less if I didn't deal with middleman. More noticable HP freed up, a few pounds less, resonator is a heavy hunk of metal. Oil runs 25 degrees cooler and a slightly louder V8 rumble that is just right. I had oval exhaust tips welded on and called it a day.

Works very well on a 2.7TT don't know about a 2.8 V6
