Default Does anyone know where I can get the chrome trimming around..
the side windows changed to black. What kind of shops would offer this service?? and how much would something like this cost?? thanks

It's aluminium. Get it anodized.

I also think that black trim around the windows of my upcoming [very soon] S6 would look fantastic with black trim instead of all that brightwork. Kinda surprized they don't offer an exterior trim level option like that. Is all that bright alum trim easy to remove, then reuse? Or would one be best served getting all new trim? tia

I agree, would rather see black trim on my 4.2 instead of chrome.

What kind of shops are able to change the trimming? Body Shops?? or is this something that I can do myself? Thanks

Yeah, who would be able to do this? Isn't that a pretty involved process?

I'm going to check with a chrome plating plant. I think they do anodizing too

Default A plating shop is your best bet. It would be really hard to get paint to stick to the aluminium as
it expands and contracts a lot. You would a body shop that has experience shooting aluminium cars - $$$
