Default Does the C5 have LATCH lower anchors? I pulled the seat and couldn't find anything

I have heard there is a kit to get since they are not automatically installed at the factory.

I was looking for anchor points to see if I just buy the kit and screw them in, but I can't see where you would do it for the lower LATCH.

Can anyone explain how this is done?

Default That is perfect, thanks for the help. Anyone out there want to sell theirs since dealers are raping

for 2 bolts and a bent piece of metal?

Dealers are installing them for free. Contact AOA if your dealer isn't.

Default That's what I thought since the LATCH was mandated in 2001/2002(?), dealers

had to retrofit them for free to comply with the new mandate.

Default I did contact AOA, they say I have to pay for them. They sent a letter to all owners a few years

back, and if you didn't have them installed in a certain time frame, they are not going to pay for it.

Once again, lousy Audi customer service

Default I think they ended the "free" program earlier this year...

...but if I recall, they are super easy to install, all you need are the parts.

Default Hard to see in this pic, but look for the painted pieces of tape...

...which are about the same level as the triangle bracket which hold the center hingepoint for the rear seatbacks. You can see one of the pieces of tape in the lower right corner of this pic here:

<img src="http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v739/hliu55/rear%20seat%20swap/rearseat6.jpg">

There should be 4 of these locations. Just with the angle of the pic and the glare of the sun, it is hard to see the others in this picture.
