I want to say I got mine from an auto parts store like Advance Auto (possibly Lowe's as a back up place) a long time ago. I think I got it originally to rebuild a friends airsoft gears for him, although I've never owned one lol. He wasn't the most mechanically inclined. I was just looking for anything without petroleum. I rubbed it along the weather stripping to prevent moisture from building up on the rubber and making it hard to open and not snap off the door handle. However, that wasn't the primary issue. The main problem was the metal latch assembly that is exposed when you open the door was sticking/retaining moisture and freezing. I just coated that latching mechanism that grasps the chassis. A little goes a long way. I'm pretty sure the brand was Permatex or something similar. Most of the time they are in tiny tubes but it doesn't take much.
