Drivers seat rocks back and forth and has a clicking noise.

I've had a problem with my drivers seat (non-sport) rocking since I picked up the car. The seat frame has been replaced once and then dismantled and re-assembled once. It is fairly tight just after it is "fixed" but then starts rocking again. Now I have a clicking noise when I accelerate or brake hard.
Anyone else out there with similar problems and what were the fixes? TIA

I would keep forcing the issue with the dealer until they replace the tracks and the seat. thats about all that can be done. I know it's a pain in the ***, but if it bothers you this much, it should be worth it.

Plus when they did the 2nd one, they ripped up the seat leather, so now I have a new lower seat leather, that of course does not match exactly

That sucks! I haven't had a problem with the leather.
Actually, the clicking noise is probably more annoying than the rocking. I have another appointment and can't wait for them to tell me (yet again)that the rocking is "within manufacturers specs and all seats rock somewhat".
By the way, does your seat rub on the center console and make a creaking sound? Mine does and it drives me crazy.

As far as rocking, point out that it is a safety issue, and ask them to put it it writing on letterhead that it is "within specs". That ought to make them fix it.

I've tried repositioning the seat belt latch and there is no improvement. When I physically separate the seat cushion from the console, the noise stops.
