I drove the almighty RS6, and it is very nice. I was amazed at how smoothly the power came on, but this is where this car lost me. The dealer is what lost me on this car. The dealer told me that they were only getting three cars, and they had over ten people on the list. He also told me that I had no chance of getting the car. Well I walked into the dealer, and I was surprised to see one on the floor. Well to make a long story short I drove the car, and loved it was ready to buy it but. The dealer told me there was a premium on the car of 10K, but since I was such a good customer it was only 5K. I said if this car is on the floor, and you have ten people on the list that means that soon you will have three of these cars on the floor with no buyers. I offered him sticker, and I was truned down. So I told him not to call me in three months when this car was still on the floor. It is too, bad I really wanted the car. But this car is a $86K car for an enthusiest, but at $96K, it is AMG time.

Although I do not live in the States, from what I have read on this board there are plenty of RS6's avaialble at sticker price.
Your dealer is trying to fool you. Give your business to someone else.

More on the car and less on the dealer. I was surprised to find paddles on the wheel. One of the nice things about the paddles is they move with the steering wheel. I have a 360 with a F1, but the paddles do not move, because they are mounted on the steering column and not the steering wheel.
The RS6 is a great car, the suspention is perfect. The car still feels very smooth, but yet handles like a sports car. And the car is fast, it almost feels as fast as my 360, but less violent. The power on the RS6 is just right there, no turbo lag at all. The brakes on this car are nice as well, 13-1/2" I think. The only problem here is winter wheels, not sure if you can get winter wheels over those rotors yet.

I'm sure there are others, but I know of an Ebony/Black with no options and a loaded Avus Silver/Silver that are available. Neither has an additional dealer mark-up sticker, but that may not mean that they'll sell for M.S.R.P.
