Don't let a bad dealer put you off a car you like
The world is full of Audi dealerships, and each has good and bad salespeople. Come to think of it, every brand is like that!
It's your money, walk it wherever it's appreciated. Or even better, wait six months and buy a lightly-used RS6 from an owner who's ready to move on to what's newer and shinier.

That dealers not useless. I think it's great that a dealer would
let someone test drive a car and then say you can't have one. Sure beats getting the high pressure sales tactics forced upon you.

I GUARANTEE that dealer will call you in a matter of days, if not hours...
They CANNOT AFFORD to "carry" RS6 inventory. They know damned good and well that the "easy sales" have all pretty much been made on this car. And there are NO LINES forming at dealerships. This is what explains the eBay dealer listings, as noted elsewhere here, pretty much at MSRP. Soon, they'll go BELOW MSRP. )Just economics, NOT bashing the RS6!)
Your dealer is either being coy, actually thinks he may have an MSRP+$5k "sucker," or just has no clue that the market for this car is off quite a bit. I guess that makes him a "dick" no matter what!
