Dunlop SP Sport A2 ??

I am considering replacing my original equipment Goodyear Eagle Touring tires (which suck by the way) with Dunlop SP Sport A2s. We have a 2000 2.7T / 6 speed which spends most of it's life with kids in the car. I was going to buy the SP Sport 9000 based on info on this forum, but was considering the A2 since the car is not driven aggresively that often.
Any advise would be welcome.
Thanks -Frank

We have SP Sport A2's on my wife's Volvo XC70 on 17" rims. The Dunlops are smooth and quiet, and very good in the rain. They are much, much better than the stock POS tires that came on the Volvo!
I cannot provide a direct comparison for you on an Audi, but I can say that they transformed the XC70 into a very nice and secure feeling car.
FWIW, I also cannot speak to the Dunlop's snow performance, as we switch to the OEM Pirelli Scorpion tires on stock 16" rims in the winter.
We'll get Michelin Artic Alpin snows after the Pirelli's wear out.
I hope this helps.

EXCELLENT in rain and snow. Amazing in snow, actually.
I've had three sets of A2s, very happy with tread left, but I've lost two to punctures.

Thanks for the info. I probably should have mentioned that I put Dunlop Winter sport M2s on for the winter months here in the NY suburbs (they were a godsend this year) I just need to make a decision on what to put on in the spring as the tires I took off in December were bald. Based on everyone's info I think I will go for the A2s. They are about $40 less per tire on tire rack then the 9000s. I guess I will just have to keep it under 130 as they are only HR rated...
