I just installed bilstein sport grooved shocks on my 2000 Audi A6 2.7t. I previously had installed prokit springs.
Impressions:
1) All the float is gone, very nice tight handling
2) Ride height set on top perch, no change after bilsteins
3) Ride comfort-Better than expected and actually smoother than the worn out stock shocks on the car
All in all a great combination. Thanks to all the AW members who helped make the choice.

I had non sport original shocks. I replaced the springs at about 6k miles, and now the car has 42k miles. The shocks were pretty much gone by 30k though.

extremely "floaty" at high speed (60-90 mph) becasue my 2000 acts the same way. its okay around town but on the highway its extremely sloppy. also has 40,000 miles on it. where'd you ge the sports springs ? thanks !
