Default Engine Carbon Clean/flush

I only have 25k miles on my 2004 CVT. It runs fine. I have the oil/filter changed every six months (Mobil 1 0W-40). I also have the recommended yearly service per the maintenance schedule done. Today it was the 45k service.
The dealer service suggested also that the enginge carbon be cleaned out although I don't see it mentioned anywhere in writing.
Is this necessary? does anone have any experience with doing it? It isn't cheap and is it effective and wortwhile? I do have the coolant changed and the radiator flushed every two years.
In 60 years of car ownership (this is my 3d Audi) I've never been told to have the carbon removed. I remember years ago some shops used to do this a process using walnut shells and high pressure air.

Default I wouldn't do this now, your miles are low, usually this would be for high mileage..

..to renew the car again.

A can of BG44K every 15k should clean any carbon.

Default I use nothing.

I have BG on the shelf, but I always forget to add it. No issues so far.

I've used Techron in the Miata.

Default I use SeaFoam, but also heard BG44K is great. Havent done the intake yet

Anyone got info on how to add the SeaFoam to the intake? I see a post in the techs about it with a 2.8, but where do I add the fluid on my 2.7T? I've cleaned the TB before, but I want to get the deep inner carb build-up as well, as I understand adding to tank only clean above the seals. Also, have added to crank right before an oil change. TIA if anyone helps.

Default Yes, suck up about a 1/3 to half bottle of seafoam through one of the small

tubes that connect to the diverter valves. Only suck the seafoam up while engine idles. Shut car off for 20 mins then run the car hard for roughly 5 miles and watch the smoke flood out! Might smoke just a hair while you are sucking up the seafoam too. Some people recommend changing spark plus after but I haven't and I have been fine. I did this on my b5 s4, b6 a4, TT, and my current A6.

Default Who knows. I just realized we sell it where I work though. I'm definitely going to put a

can through my intake, as well as a can in my oil (right before I change it.)

Default I always wonder how much the O2 sensors enjoy a good Seafoam treatment.

I avoid it if possible, but I have BTDT with both the Miata and the Coupe. I both cases I immediately changed the oil and the O2 sensors. In neither case did it make much difference.
