engine light came on, so I scanned it and 17831 was the code that came up (thank god it was the only code). The code definition is : secondary Air Injection System (B1)- Flow Too Low. Ok so if its too low..... what's causing this? There are codes for restricted flow, leak detected and none of these codes came up. So anyways I reset the check engine light.. gonna wait and see if anything comes back within the next couple of weeks.. but in the mean time I'd like to hear what some of you guys think. Also the only modification is a 94 octane chip (probably doesn't matter though).

can anyone upload a diagram showing which hose/hoses may be defected.. I looked and didn't find much....plus I had reset the CEL thinking it wouldn't come back on before a couple of weeks.... but the leak must be bigger than i thought .... took 1 ride for it to come back on.... I was hoping to find the problem on my own time, then get my mechanic to simply replace it...

under the hood--the vacuum hose diagram that is.
In all seriousness, just replace all the cloth covered smallest diameter vacuum hose if you have a leak anywhere. Its life expectancy is 5 years or less--I started having problems at less than three. Takes about 30 minutes and 10-15 feet of hose. That's your most likely starting place to solve it and very cheap and easy to do.

haha think I found it..... 2 small hoses were both tight but both didn't have the clamps... erased the CEL then re-clamped the 2 hoses and the CEL has yet to come back on.... I'm crossing my fingers!!
thanks guys
