Error Code 16721

1996 A6 Quattro car won't start. I pulled the code using Vagcom and it reads 16721 crankshaft position sensor (G28) or (G4) signal too low PO337 -92-000 unknown error elaboration. Help what should I do to remedy the problem?

Sorry..was going to look it up but I can only access 98-04 models
