I have Dunlop SP9000's which have a history of growing louder with wear, but I cannot imagine this amount of noise can be from the tires alone. It is consistant and only improves a little on different surfaces. Hard to hear on my cell phone which is a problem seeing as though I am in sales and live in my car. Putting on winters soon which might not be any better, so not sure that will help define the problem. Any other ideas/suggestioons?

Comparing the noise caused by a bad wheel bearing a couple months ago with my exceedingly loud set of Avon's, it's nearly identical.
Couple points of differentiation: the wheel bearing will sound the same no matter the surface; with the tire you'll notice marked change in the vibration noise over different surfaces (e.g. freshly paved road). I think the winters will be a big help in troubleshooting. If the noise hardly changes, its probably a wheel bearing. In any case, it couldnt hurt to have it looked at by a mechanic - you've got to expect these things eventually.
